Point/Rewrite domain to a Sub-folder

Last Updated: Jun 09, 2014 06:10PM EDT
I would like to point/rewrite a domain to a folder without changing the URL. How can I accomplish this?

-----------------------------

Under Linux, you would use the rewrite directives described below:

RewriteEngine On

RewriteBase /

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/folder(/)?

RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?domain.

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ folder/$1 [L]

----------

Replace "folder" with the one you want to be shown for the domain. If
the folder is at domain.com/folder/folder, put in folder/folder. If it
is at domain.com/folder, put in folder.

Replace "domain" with the actual domain, without the TLD (.com, .net, .biz, etc).
