Service Notice - SSL Update
Cartika's Network Operations Team has updated the shared SSL Certificate used for secure connections to the *.hspheredns.com domain.
Some clients have seen difficulty with SSL errors being generated (Specifically MAC and iPhone devices).
On most computers and devices which were impacted, a hard quit and restart of the mail client will resolve the issue.
On some mobile devices, force quit the mail application, restart the device by powering it off and then on, and/or restarting the local network if the wifi connection is presenting the issue will clear the caches and resolve the issue.
Sadly we cannot force clear local or ISP or cell phone provider caches, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused, but we can assure you the issue is resolved, and anyone who is still impacted, will either resolve automatically , or will be rectified as caches are cleared locally or by your ISP and cell phone providers
UPDATE - July 21st - as some users, specifically using the iPhone are continuing to have issues here, we have further investigated this issue. We understand some customers are very upset here, but, unfortunately, this is a known IOS bug on iphones as of the v10.2 update. Any change to the SSL certification can cause this issue, and unfortunately, SSL certificates do expire and require to be re-installed from time to time.
