Adding Subdomain to Alternate HSphere Account

Adding Subdomain to Alternate HSphere Account

If you are wanting to add a subdomain to an HSphere account, keep in mind that if the root domain is already assigned to an HSphere account, you cannot assign subdomains to a different account than the account that owns the domain.

Some alternatives to to this would be:

Create an account on a different platform than HSphere, like cPanel, and host the subdomain there, using DNS to point an A for the subdomain to the cPanel server.

Register an identical domain, but with a different suffix (.net instead of .com) and add that to a new HSphere account for hosting the subdomain.
