Creating an email account with cpanel

Setting up an Email Account in cPanel

If your account includes email service, you need to first set up an email account in cPanel. Log into cPanel and click on the ‘Email Accounts’ icon under mail.

It will take you to this screen.

Type in the name you want to use beside ‘Email:’ and then add a secure password.

Next press the create account button.

Now you will see your account in the next window.

To set up an email client like Apple Mail or Outlook, you will need to know some more information. Click on the ‘More’ button.

 Click on the ‘Configure Email Client’ link.

 

 

You should now be at the page shown here.

Below this are several automated installer scripts for popular email clients. You may use these scripts if you wish.

If the scripts do not work, or you do not see your client listed, there is a further screen showing the manual settings.  Use these settings to configure your client.
