Instant Access domain alias/Temporary URL not working in Hsphere
This usually because the instant alias was not submitted when we launched a new server. TO fix this, please do the following:
First, submit any missing Server Aliases
- In your admin section, go to E.manager --> Server Aliases
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit"
Next, submit your Instant Aliases:
- In your admin section, go to E.manager --> DNS manager
- Edit your service domain
- Edit the instant alias -- it is in the section labeled "Instant aliases for DNS zone"
- At the bottom of the page there will be a link labeled "Submit missing instant aliases" or something similar to that.
- Click
the above link and wait for the process to complete. Depending on how
many aliases are missing, this could take a 30 seconds to a minute.
If the alias is not working after the above, please let us know.
Test the alias after you've allowed DNS propagation to complete -- a few hours to 24 hours.
