How to Create an OnApp Snapshot

How to Create an OnApp Snapshot

To enable and create snapshots in OnApp VMs first you need to add backup space. To do this from your Dashboard first click the manage button for your VM

Next select the resources tab.

On the resources page click the Upgrade/Downgrade button.

On the Upgrade/Downgrade page simply move the slider to the amount of space that you require for backups/snapshots. You only need to select enough space for the actual amount of data used, not for all of the space allocated to that VM.

Next you simply go to the VM that you would like to snapshot and click the storage tab.

Click the backup link to create a snapshot.
