Managing Hotmail Safe Senders

Managing Hotmail Safe Senders

Adding a domain to a Hotmail.com safe senders list will ensure emails sent to that hotmail address are processed.

Hotmail and Windows Live have a very strong filter that blocks a lot of mail which is not spam. Although the Hotmail/Windows Live pages say "Questionable" mail will go into your "Junk Folder", this is not always the case.

To add a domain to Hotmail.com safe senders list:
  1. Sign in to the Windows Live Hotmail website.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click Options, and then click More options.
  3. Under Junk e-mail, click Safe and blocked senders.
  4. Click Safe senders.
  5. Enter the domain you wish to add to the safe senders list and click add to list.
