HSphere - How to generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request)

To generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request), please do the following in the control panel:



1) Login to the control panel for the domain that you need the CSR for



2) Go to Domain Settings --> Web options (if you have multiple
domains in this account, click the domain that you are working with)



3) Under SSL support click "Generate Self signed certificate and signing request"



4) Fill out the first form with contact information and pick if you
want to have the www in the certificate or not and click subit



5) On the next page, copy the contents of the CSR field as well as the private key field and keep them for your records



6) Submit the second page -- important step



7) Give the CSR to your SSL provider
